Helios Education Foundation announces $1.7 million investment to continue and expand the work of the FGRLC
The Florida Children’s Council / #FloridaGLR Campaign was honored to have been recognized at the #Learners2Earners Education Summit in Tampa this week. Charles Hokanson, Senior Vice President, Florida Community Engagement, Helios Education Foundation, acknowledged the infrastructure development and accomplishments of the #FloridaGLR Campaign during the past three years and also announced Helios Education Foundation’s $1.7M recent investment awarded to the Florida Children’s Council to expand the work of the #FloridaGLR Campaign over the next three years. We commend the existing community campaigns for their impactful work addressing school readiness, summer learning and school attendance, and we look forward to strengthening public policy, increasing community partnerships, enhancing supports for infant/toddlers, and expanding evidence-based summer learning opportunities for Florida’s children.
